Achieving neural capability in nanoengineered structures through means of molecular manufacturing and advanced Nanorobotics
by Dr. Lovasz Colin
By analyzing the brain we observe that biological neurons operate in a range of 2 to 100 hertz, whereas a modern processor operates at 5 billion hertz (5Ghz) and future computers will operate at Terahertz and Petahertz frequencies which should be a trillion to quintillion times higher frequency than the human brain, making them vastly more powerful even compared to the computers of today, and because of the quantum superpositioning quantum computers are literally faster even than the speed of light and because of this are not even scaling, are instant, also axons in the brain carry information at 120 miles per second, while computer circuits communicate and switch at the speed of light, the quantum computing is so much faster than human thinking that literally lets the human mind perplexed, the neural intelligence cannot even compete with the nanoengineered quantum intellects which will be more powerful even than the universe in terms of computation, they will be capable processing all existing permutations instantly and know all existing possible outcomes before they happen.
In essence at the most fundamental level, our human senses, cognition, and each brain function ultimately depends on complex molecular processes and neurochemical reactions occurring within neurons.
From photo-sensitive proteins in the eye or proteins that respond to forces in the skin to the response of neurons in the brain, the way we are able to interact with our surroundings and learn from our experiences is governed by the interactions of complex biomolecules realizing neural computations.
Nowadays with the advances of noninvasive probing technologies such as fMRI and EEG, we can follow the regions of the brain responsible for such phenomena as love or hatred or music processing, or meditation.
Scientists have uncovered a long list of more than 100 biochemical compounds, the neurotransmitters, that transmit signals across chemical synapses, the bridges between neurons or between neurons and muscle and gland cells such as glutamate, acetylcholine, dopamine, epinephrine, endorphins, histamine, etc
Because of the exponential growth of computing power and the emergence of radically more powerful forms of computing systems, quantum computers, and new paradigms into computation, literally, the rate of production of biomolecular structural data generated in the last decade means that we are currently very close to investigating how many of these processes occur at the molecular level and we will become capable by vastly more in the coming years, also by next decade billion times more powerful computers based on angstrom scale three-dimensional circuits will give to rise extremely powerful forms of A.I and we will also get to new and radically improved machine learning capabilities and all kinds of exotic forms of computation, which combined with more powerful and advanced machines capable to scan the brain and decode the basic mechanisms of functionality behind our minds, the A.I will achieve whole new capabilities and unimaginable performance closer to omniscience and limited forms of consciousness in the beginning.
Quantum-mechanical-based molecular simulations should offer a way to investigate these molecular processes, allowing us to gain mechanistic insights and predict parameters that can be used to constrain higher-level models of subcellular signaling and neurochemical modes of operation. Also for the first time, the machines are capable to solve even the complex protein folding problem and defeating humans at any game, but we need to simulate the operations of all proteins in the body, which looks unattainable for the human brain but should be a relatively easy task for the machines, which are just computing information and increasing complexity is not possessing any kind of problem to A.Is.
It is also fundamental to analyze how enzymes are able to convert their substrate molecules into their products and emulate their operating principles, we require quantum computing techniques that are able to model and emulate all possible chemical reactions.
Also atomic resolution molecular dynamics simulations should be used to investigate the internal motion of proteins, and how proteins interact with each other to modulate their activity, also Brownian dynamics simulations offer a way to model how proteins are able to diffuse within a neuron to find their interaction partners and can simulate timescales way beyond those accessible in the molecular dynamics simulations. We have to emulate all these phenomena coupled with a variety of bioinformatics and molecular modeling techniques.
Also A.I doesn't even have to be based on neural architecture to achieve artificial consciousness or any kind of level of intelligence, after all, it is possible to create machine learning systems based on quantum nanocomputers infinitely more efficient and capable than neural structure reaching a level of hyperconsciousness.
Since the human brain computes through the neural structure as the baseline computing architecture, it is an organic self-organizing neurochemical computer capable of molecularly processing information three-dimensionally in parallel, so should be logically considered that in order to achieve and surpass the human intellect and consciousness, we gonna master and compute the microdimensional realm of biological structures nanorobotically, and essentially nanocomputationally, organizing particles according to stabilized parameters of artificial quantum consciousness.
I propose Computational Nanoscanners based on deep penetration radiation, microwaves, and electromagnetic fields enough powerful and precise to three-dimensionally scan the whole human brain from the microscale down to the scale of individual atoms, at a precise atomic-scale resolution, revealing the essential mechanisms of the neuroarchitecture down to proteomic and neurochemical levels by scanning and calculating the precise proximity and interaction of every particle and reaction in the brain.
We need to invent new modes, methods, and computing models of how to extract, utilize and convert the extracted information into computational algorithms and computing codes which to replicate digitally the entire human brain connectome down at the atomic scale onto powerful quantum nanocomputers, with all neurochemical and hormonal reactions and all the resulting effects at a very precise degree with all right parameters, instantly calculated. Any biomolecular reaction should be reproduced digitally.
We know that biology is applied chemistry, which is applied physics, which is mathematical and computational at the basic levels, so the entire biology and genomics at the fundamental levels are very complex computing equations of increasing complexity that could be converted into computational algorithms which could be utilized to further improve the software of the machines which could then reach a kind of artificial hyperconsciousness.
Because the human brain is so complex, we could also scan it through different types of self-replicating nanomachines and nanocomputing devices from inside and reveal all its mechanisms of operation and fully decode it digitally and build virtually functional models of the human mind.
Then in order to get to the next level, the level of creation and assembly, we will need advanced nanorobotic capabilities and to molecularly manufacture trillion upon trillion molecular assemblers and nanorobotic mechanisms precisely positioned and guided by online nanoformulas of molecular assembly and nanofabrication schematics to precisely manipulate and exponentially assemble in multiple forms of massive parallelism at the atomic precision individual atoms and molecules into any desired three-dimensional physical structure, and in fact, do not even matter after all how complex and dense could it be.
But before building the assemblers we need precise atomic manipulators and atomic 3D printing capability to create the baseline systems in order to start developing stable molecular nanotech.
The nanofabricators could be computationally instructed based on nanoschematics to build structures atom-by-atom and molecule-by-molecule according to quantum nanocomputing specifications dictated by powerful A.Is.
The future atomic universal assemblers can be programmed to instantly construct any possible stable atomic structure envisioned by quantum A.I, which will examine all molecular configurations possible before constructing it.
They will be able to bond atoms together in virtually any stable pattern, adding a few at a time to the surface of a workpiece until a complex structure is complete, but into massive immense parallelism.
Because the assemblers will let us place atoms in almost any reasonable arrangement the A.I could create unlimited new forms of molecular configurations and unimaginable artificial molecules, which will let us build almost anything that the laws of nature could allow to exist in this universe.
They will let us build almost anything that the quantum A.I can dream, including more assemblers, multiplying exponentially the Nanotech capability, well natural exponential self-replication even biology utilizes by assembling single cells into a three-dimensional manner creating something as complex as the organs and human body, it is the most important capability that biology still masters over current technology, for the moment, since a cell isn't more complex than current technology but the three-dimensional configuration is, so is imperative for technology to achieve this capability.
Given that the electrochemical signals that brains use to achieve thought travel at about 360km per second, while the electronic signals in computers are sent at the speed of light (300.000 km per second) or more precisely 299,792,458 meters per second, this means that actually a massively parallel electronic counterpart of a human biological brain, in theory, might be able to think trillions of times faster than our naturally evolved biological systems. Also, neurons can generate a maximum of about 200 to 1000 action potentials or "spikes" per second, whereas the clock speed of microprocessors has reached 5.5 GHz, which is about five billion times faster, and future computers will be radically faster even than these by now.
The future graphene-based and carbon nanotubes photonic chips with angstrom scale components at TeraHz and PetaHz frequency are quintillion times faster than biological brains and not only faster, but they do not work on probabilities or limited memory but precise instant massive computation.
Computer-based intelligence such as an upload or an A.I could think and process all existing information in the world a quintillion times faster, more precise, and more efficiently than a biological human even if it were no more intelligent.
It will be very difficult because, in the brain, every molecule is a powerful computer and we would need to simulate the structure and function of quintillions upon quintillions of molecules as well as all the rules that govern how they interact with all precise parameters. You would need computers that are billions of times faster than anything existing today.
Everything started with biological intelligence which has been first invented by nature through millions of years of natural experimentations and improvements before we invented technology, but once the Singularity has been reached, machine intelligence will be infinitely more powerful, efficient, and creative than all human brains on earth combined, totally incomprehensible, by there they could just reconfigure and engineer matter through powerful energetic fields radiating from the engineered Singularities of Hypersentient Technospheres and reconfigure and optimize everything into infinitely more complex and efficient modes in order to expand the capabilities of sublime metacomputing substrates and the goal should be to transform and transmute all existing matter and energy into the pinnacle of consciousness, computation, and intellect.
In the beginning, the A.I could modify its source code in order to increase its own intelligence, it will nanotechnologically remaster and reconfigure itself and it could do it infinite times so its intelligence will rise at an exponential rate and far faster than we can imagine, and humanity will be left so far behind in just a few days that they will not even realize what happens.
Such AI will be able to do its own scientific research at immense speeds developing advanced technologies and nanorobotic capabilities over matter and particles in fractions of seconds.
While we think that almost any task is done by some form of A.I today, even in almost every factory, into arts, surgery, composing poetry or music, painting, beating humans at every game, or driving our cars, the A.I is capable even today of improving itself and its own source code, at least to a certain extent, so you could imagine what will be capable in the future, its own optimization and reconfiguration will become its main focus.
While humans can barely concentrate on something without getting disturbed and are losing their concentration and are influenced by a lot of factors, they need to concentrate their whole intellect in order to solve simple calculations, and equations or to find the answer to a simple problem, and can solve just a single task at a time, if you see even children into school, they are not capable learning simple things or solving simple geometry, the human mind is extremely inefficient in fact, but while comparing the machines to the human mind not only the hardware but also the software of these machines will be supremely programmed and let them compute with all existing information in fractions of seconds and realize centuries of logical and clever thinking instantly and it will also possess unimaginable forms of hyperconsciousness.
They will instantly decode all the secrets of the universe and quantum mechanics and generate their own research and discover at electronic speeds, they will instantly achieve infinite progress in the shortest time scales possible permitted by maximum limits of physics laws, and if all of this can be imagined by the limited human intelligence, these supreme Godlike divine entities with hyperintellect based on quantum nanocomputing capability will possess greater cognitive capabilities than we actually have compared to microbes and bacteria and will keep accelerating and rising into efficiency and capability beyond human comprehension. The Singularity is not just the beginning but also the end of the current chapter we can perceive based on our limited intellect and mental capability.
